Pillaris of the Flame

Structure

With their leader Mugrund absent in all but the most important events within the state, the primary titles that have authority within it is the hall of artisans, where the greatest creators of the state are found, who act as a senate where ideas and events are discussed and laws are passed through votes.

Public Agenda

The main agenda has been what it has always been for the dalvarians, to increase their own industry to greater and greater heights, and reach further and further down intot he ground to discover more metals, more precious stones, and other strange things

Assets

Pillaris has the greatest industry of all the 13 Wyverns, for it is in the heartland of the dolvarian peaks and their mines and many artisan stations. It produces many fine weapons and armor, and mines many precious gems and other such materials from its deep and complex mines. Its also the biggest exporter of finer things, such as metal statues and jewelry, which earns the complex a lot of drakens.

History

When the Golden Dragon died, all 13 of the children rode to their home states. Well, 12 to be more accurate, for Mugrund never left his hall, he stayed and never went to the capital to see his father before his death, and continued to stay within even after the Golden Dragon's death. As such, in the chaos, it left his state vulnerable, and quickly came under attack from all sides. It looked like all would be lost until Mugrund left his hall and led his armies against the invaders, smiting them away and securing the border. And so, he returned to his hall, and left the artisans to handle affairs. As the time turned to the Silence, Pillaris never suffered a lot, as it was able to trade away its materials and equipment for its food, as the artisans seeked cooperation and peace. But it seems strange things are being built within the peaks, as a faction is growing in support of Mugrund, and prepare for war. Will the artisans choose peace, or shall they go to war?

Demography and Population

The state of Pillaris has three primary groups living within it. As usual draken make up a large portion, about 50% of the total population, primarily living outside the mountains, while the dolvarlians make about 35% of the population who in turn primarily live in the mountains and big cities. Finally, there are the talvarians, who make up about 15% of the population, most being first or second generation immigrants into the old empire.

Military

The military of Pillaris is primarily known for being incredibly well armed, with much of its army wielding finely forged weapons and armor, with soldiers wielding some of the heaviest and strongest armor of all the continent. On top of this, they also have a large variety of artillery such as ballista and onagers that they sometimes use in defensive battles.

Religion

Religion is complicated within the state of Pillaris, because the dalvarians still have a great deal of autonomy, and thus believe in their mountain gods of old. Usually it does not conflict with the drakens, but as more and moree believe in the pantheon, it may soon change.

Agriculture & Industry

The fire peaks were the very heart of indsutry in the old empire, and continues to remain as the greatest industrial area in the entire continent, with precious material from underground being constantly mined and then refined and then created into goods such as tools fo war, tools for farming, and jewelry and other such things. It does however not produce much food, and thus trades a lot with their neighbours.
