Fyr Bountamn

The great indsutrial heartland of the empire, the chimney peak city for its large openings upon the top of the mountains, as if like a volcano despite being in a cold environment. Caravans travel in and out of the city constantly, filled with either gold or goods. And within the city are proud and bright fires illuminating the interior, where one can see thousands of artisans plying their trades and deep tunnels into the mountain where thousands of miners mine the precious metals and minerals deep within the earth.

Demographics

Fyr is split between its three primary groups of people, that being the draken making up about 40% of the population, while the dalvarians actually make up thee vast majority of the city, much unlike other cities where its always the draken who dominate, with talvarians making up about 10% of the population in turn.

Government

All things of government goes through the hall of artisans, who act as a senate where all things from small to large go through, and individuals are able to comee forth to present their case. Other than that, the stage below the senate is that of the stonehouse, where people of government work to help with much more minor issues.

Defences

The defense of the industrial capital of the continent is intense and strong, with thick walls both on the outside and the inside of the mountain, armed with archer towers and ballista pedastals, with openings in the walls for archers to stand and shoot through, with its guards patrolling is walls regulary, decked out in state of the art armor and weapons.

Industry & Trade

There are two primary jobs within the city, either you go down into the mines and extract precious metals and other beautiful gems, or you go to be an artisan and you refine the resources from the miners into weapons, or armor, or tools, or jewelry, or statues, or other such things.

Infrastructure

All of the cities infrastructure is modern and well worked, with stone pavement reaching all areas within the city, from the entrance and the market, to the mines and the halls of industry.

Guilds and Factions

There are two guilds within the city that are vying for their group to have more privilege than the others, that being the miners guild who ensure the welfare and safety of miners, and that of the artisans guild who want to ensure the livelihood and the profit earning of the artisans. Naturally, the two constantly conflict with each other, and are the centre of many conflicts within the city.
