Kingdom of Lelum
Structure
The one true leader Lelum of none other than Mehena, the Dragon of Magic, through the popular support of the people. Of course, one man cannot take care of an entire nation, so he has assembled a large council of intellectuals who help advise him on matters of state and other such things when he needs it, but beyond that they are limited. Some of them are esteemed members of the state, and as such they also aid in matters of management, where Mehena sometimes appoints them to handle cities or areas.
Public Agenda
The number one thing for Lelum as a entity is simply to survive, which is of course difficult due to its lack of natural resources and arable land to make food. Thus, a big focus is set on researching the flow and other innovations that will help the state continue forward, along with expanding to unexplored or unhabited places in search for resources, hence their great interest in the golden frontier.
Assets
Its lack of physical assets in natural resources is made up for its industry relating to the flow of magic, which the most prominent industry being that of the creation of minor and major artifacts, along with being the greatest exporter of wielders, with most magi tracing their origin from the great halls of magi in lelum, with only Gatherlak rivaling it in that regard. Lelum is also able to sell these magi in the form of services or loans, with the individuals helping the party paying for it.
Demography and Population
Lelum is a land scarred by the great war that was fought upon it, and its many people that live within still remember the many battles fought upon it. It was once a homeland of the chromatic draken, and while there are chromatics, they are ones that have immigrated or escaped into Lelum. Since the invasion, the metallics make up the majority at 75%, with the remaining 25% being metallics, although there are some people from various different backgrounds that study to be magi within the capital
Military
Much like the original empire, Lelum has a military service for a number of years where you are then given a certain amount of land and a certain amount of gold, the difference being that Lelum works on a volunteer system. This has the drawback of not being very large, as many of the original army has gone back to being normal people, but it has led to a very elite army that is also trained to manipiulate the flow, which has led to Lelum military to have very unique strategies and tactics when it comes to combat, commonly using magic in battle.
Religion
Religion plays a very strange role within Lelum, as it is pretty split between the polytheistic beliefs of the metallic dragons, and the chromatic dragons, which has led to a lot of conflict and other issues between the two different religions, which can also lead to ethnic conflicts between the metallic and chromatic people. Despite this, it is a very open society, with the cities especially being accepting of all forms of beliefs and philosophies, and the state itself accepting any and all religions.
Agriculture & Industry
Agriculture is very poor within Lelum, as its soil has difficulty raising crops, and as such a lot of food is imported from the east or the south east. It does however have the most developed magic enchanting and simply magic industry on the entire continent, being the biggest exporter of magi and magical artifacts, sometimes even leasing their magi and their artifacts for the long term in the form of contracts. Other than that, it has a very basic fishing industry in the north west and on the islands that helps supplement the agriculture.
