Golden Kingdom of Lonyth
Structure
While the kingdom of Lonyth is essentially made up of cities where merchants rule, they all kowtow to Arjan, the wealthiest and most powerful among them. Thus, they all follow his command, but still have a great deal of control when it comes to their own cities and businesses. If a dispute between merchants happen, then a Assembly of Traders are gathered within Lukton to debate the topic and reach a conclusion, with Arjan being part of it but having only a simple vote much like the others.
Public Agenda
Business has always been the main thing on the mind of those who rule Lonyth, for gold is the life blood of this state. Thus of course, their agenda has always been to gain stability on the continent to allow more trade to occur, while gaining power for themselves by cornering markets through the power of goods. Some speak however that many of the merchants have chafed under the rule of a "king", what this may lead to, who knows.
Assets
Much like the Drubian Imperium, the greatest asset of Lonyth is its immense wealth in its business and merchants, which has allowed it to invest a lot in its own ability to sustain itself, having large farm fields but also large mining operations under the ground, while also able to produce many things for itself. Due to this, their military is made up of hardened mercenaries that are ready to be paid and fight whenever the cities need them.
Demography and Population
Once the lands of Lonyth was the land of the metallic tribes that called it home, but after the "invasion" of the wealthy merchants, it has become a much more varied population overall, as immigrants from all over the empire came to it for the promises of massive profit in the growing province. As such, while Metallic Draken do make the majority at about 50%, the rest of the population is more within the cities and still make a large portion of the state. About 5% are stonemen, 20% are urkur and daerlman, 15% are halfling, with the final bit being 10% are dalvarians and talvarians.
Military
Lonyth has no standing military that is of its own people, as there are few who would wish to fight and sacrifice themselves for it, though there are some pockets willing to do it. As such, the military of Lonyth is that of mercenaries that the various cities hire to protect their interests, whether that be the cities or the routes their caravans travel. Thus, while their soldiers are some of the best on the continent and are heavily armed, many would argue they cannot truly be that loyal since their loyalty is that of coin rather than blood or home.
Religion
Religion is very much a mishmash of beliefs when it comes to Lonyth, for the huge variety of people that have come to live and work there brought their own cultures with them as they moved. As such, most merchants tend to have a neutral or apathetic view when it comes to it, and so does most people, though there are rumors of growing tensions between people, as it is not the most important aspect of their lives.
Agriculture & Industry
There is a great deal of industry and agriculture within Lonyth, and the discovery of that wealth of natural resources is one of the reasons that it ended up exploding in size and people. It has vast farm lands surrounding its cities, and large networks of mines that reach deep underground to reach precious metals and minerals. Along with this, it's industry is vast and well developed, with a large variety of jobs in most cities, from masons to carpenters.
