Delenien Pisi (Dell-LANE-ee-enn PYE-see)

Delenien Pisi -- also known by his married name Delenien Basania, per Ustrarian tradition -- was the husband of Orine Basania and the father of Scedal and Ruta. He was a shipwright working in the Mother's Bosom; often based out of Iqith, he was frequently away from home. Orine has wondered if this contributed early to Scedal's later enstrangement.
Delenien died in an accident at the port when he was inspecting a ship's keel underwater for potential repairs: the ship became unmoored and pinned him, where he ultimately drowned.
