They also must complete a ritual at the Oathneedle to charge their Pactmaker's Lancet. The ritual is kept highly secret by the Pactmakers themselves, and it rumored that the pactmakers first make prospective candidates swear an oath to keep it secret before they are allowed to attempt the ritual. You must find another Pactmaker who is willing to guide you through the ritual.

Apprentice
You may write one pact per day between up to two parties. The failure condition of the pact is limited to:Journeyman
You may write 3 pacts a day with up to 3 parties each. You may extend the length of any imposed condition to 24 hoursMaster
You can write up to 10 pacts a day with a limit of 5 creatures on each. You may extend the life of any imposed condition to Two WeeksGrandmaster
You may write up to 50 pacts a day with as many creatures in each pact as you like. You may extend the length of any imposed condition up to one yearPayment & Reimbursement
A Pact maker may charge what ever they like to write and enforce their pact, but the standard rate is typically 5-10% of the value of the pact in order to create and enforce it. Pacts involving more parties and conditions may be changed more.

Pact
You spend 10 minutes writing a scroll outlining the terms of the pact and its conditions. At the end of the 10 minutes, all parties involved must seal the pact with a drop of blood. A Pact Maker may impose any condition available to their current skill level, and any condition available to skill level below them.
