Akbyset Settlement in The Fourth Age of Tel | World Anvil

Akbyset (/ak.by'sɛt/)

An isolated trading post located on the Golden Road trade route, Akbyset has earned a reputation as an anarchic crossroads for the various cultures and peoples that populate the Senu Desert and the Asri River Valley of Khemia.

Industry & Trade

The economic activity of Akbyset primarily revolves around the buying and selling of livestock, in particular, akyali, ya'an, and camels. Senu tribesmen will bring their herds to Akbyset and trade them for manufactured goods, such as ironwork, textiles, and ceramics from Khemia, Kharad, and the Aeriscan League.

A secondary industry in Akbyset is the hiring of mercenaries.
