Salt-Kin
The Salt-Kin are descended from the captains and sailors of the armadas that crossed the Plague Sea during The Crossing. Unwilling to settle on the solid land of the The Coastal Realms, the first Salt-Kin sailed up and down the coast looking for an appropriate place to call home. They found this home on the rugged and demanding Soul-Breaker Islands
In appearance the salt-kin vary widely, being a mix of sailors from all nine of the great armadas that attempted The Crossing. Even with that, they are easily recognised from their sun-darkened and salt-aged skin.
They are well marked by their chaotic and risk-taking natures as well.
