Sanctuary of Laɟacan
History
The Sanctuary of Laɟacan was a religious site of the Bu'uriath religion founded by Jadar þát Culuuc in Laɟacan. The site had a history of religious affiliations due to a Spritish link in the region. The Sanctuary was dedicated to the God Kuruuc after þát had a religious experience in the region in his early reign. Since then, the Sanctuary has held a few religious artefacts, such as the Map of þát and Ghasscari religious icons.
The Sanctuary had its own priesthood which tended to the shrine and the temples in the area around it. However, the Sanctuary faded into obscurity until around 400 AT, when it was revived as a centre of worship in the Bu'uriath empire.
