Mental characteristics
The original Seven Virtues, named Chastity, Kindness, Patience, Temperance, Diligence, Charity, and Humility, were the leaders of both Heaven and the angels. Unfortunately, they were eliminated many years ago in the first primordial war, known as the Light-Dark War. This war ravaged the planet as powerful light and dark forces fought to maintain balance. When the dust settled and the fighting was over, both Heaven and Hell were in severe need of leadership. Seven new angels would need to be chosen, each angel best representing one of the Seven Virtues.
Cera was born not long after the death of the original Diligence. She was a hard worker in everything she did, be it school or chores or community service. Unfortunately in most cases, she put the work before interpersonal relationships, and any friends she made, she quickly lost. In her education, of course, she passed with flying colors, and received nearly every honor that she could. But several teachers were worried about her social skills, and they wanted her to not only succeed in school, but to learn how to make allies as well. Since she was so adept at school, every door was open to her. She could take any kind of work she wanted. So the professors at her school gave her a list of options, jobs that would both have her work hard, and enable her to develop tight friendships with her coworkers. Several of the job options included working with mortals, routine community service, researching and developing technology, and becoming a soldier in the military. Cera, being the diligent student she was, chose two jobs at once: researcher (in her spare time), and soldier.
Combat training and boot camp came naturally to Cera, and she rotated weapons constantly to keep herself interested. But even with all her hard work, she still couldn't make and keep a single friend. No one could keep up with her, and no one could relate to her. In time, Cera stopped trying and focused on her training. Finally, the time came for her to prove herself. She had to go on a mission to send a devil back to Hell. No angels volunteered to help her, but Cera didn't care. She went down alone. When her devil showed up, it was a short battle. Cera was swift, efficient, and almost vicious in her attack. Then, alone, she returned to Heaven, where she was granted full soldier status.
In her coming missions, Cera often went alone to deal with problems. A band of devils, organizing an attack? Cera handled it as efficiently as possible. Mortals needed help with something, she would deal with it as quickly as she could. But all of it was by herself. She never asked or even needed anyone's help, and many angels began to not just avoid her, but resent her. She was setting a standard that the rest of Heaven simply could not meet. Even her commanding officers could not keep up with Cera. She would complete a mission as fast and as clean as possible and then report back, and they would have nothing else for her to do. She rose through the ranks quicker and quicker until finally she became a commanding officer herself. And she rode her troops hard. She made sure everything went exactly as she designed it, and if any soldier stepped out of place, she let them know.
Then came the mission that solidified Cera's reputation. Reports had been coming in of hundreds of mortals turning uncharacteristically lazy and tired, failing to do their jobs or be productive. Cera volunteered her platoon to take care of the problem, and they went down to search out the cause.
It didn't take them long to find it. Apparently a devil named Lunette, a newly appointed commander of Hell, had come to the surface to cause trouble. She and her band of devils had influenced the mortals to become as they were now. But as it turned out, Lunette was the laziest of all. She barely had any active part in the planning or ordering her troops around: that was handled by several other devils in her squad. In fact, when all the fighting was over, Cera demanded to fight Lunette, but one of the devils told Cera that she'd gone off to take a nap somewhere.
This sent Cera into a rage. After all her hard work and all the resentment she'd gotten for becoming a commanding officer, someone as lazy as Lunette had come into power? It was unthinkable, impossible. Cera and her platoon scoured the surrounding area and eventually found Lunette in an alleyway. She woke up to a sword inches from her face. Cera demanded that Lunette fight her, but Lunette refused, saying it wasn't worth the effort. Instead, she fled, hoping to lose Cera in the chase.
She didn't. Both the chase and battle were short. Cera struck Lunette down with a vengeance that made even her own platoon fear her. The devils fled as quickly as possible, and Cera returned to Heaven. While she was granted the special rank of General of the Angels, every soldier in her care requested to be moved to another platoon. She was at the top of the pyramid, alone again. And in her loneliness, the symbol of Diligence appeared above her head, a book with a sword through the middle. She was now one of the Seven Virtues.
Fortunately, her solitude wouldn't last. Not too long after, she met the other six virtues. Mikhail, the Virtue of Kindness. Bianca, the Virtue of Chastity. Serro, the Virtue of Patience. Lania, the virtue of Charity. Adriel, the Virtue of Temperance. And Virvios, the Virtue of Humility.
It was Mikhail who could see that Cera hurt. She hurt on the inside, she wondered why no one liked her, wondered why after all her hard work people weren't proud of her, commending her for her actions; she wanted praise, not more rewards. The other Six Virtues had heard of her exploits, to be sure. But none of them had ever seen her in person. And Mikhail was the first to reach out to Cera and reassure her. It would be a long road before Cera would be able to open up to the other six. But with time, she started to value the friends she had, and made a conscious effort not to lose them. And one day, Mikhail told her he was proud of her. That was all she needed to hear.
She and the other Virtues had a new mission now: to thwart the Seven Sins at every turn.
Cera graduated from high school with honors, and has been trained in weapons and hand-to-hand combat.
Currently, Cera is employed as General of the Angels. This means that if the situation warranted it, she would have command of every able-bodied soldier in Heaven.
Cera graduated from high school with every possible honors award, and is the first angel ever to receive the rank of Superior Commanding Officer.
For most of her life, Cera was unable to maintain any kind of friendship, and eventually caused people to resent or even fear her.
Cera has a slight fear of social interaction and people.
Visual-spatial, logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic
Cera wholly believes in the power of good, and also believes that anything can be accomplished through hard work: if one hasn't achieved something, they haven't worked hard enough.
Like all angels, Cera does not interact with devils or any other race from Hell unless absolutely necessary.
Personality Characteristics
Cera desires to keep order in the world like any angel does. Additionally, she strives to do her very best in everything she does, even if the task seems to be impossible.
Extremely skilled with the Weapons of Diligence.
Likes: sweets, books, getting up early, working hard, teamwork, fighting, yelling
Dislikes: vegetables, slackers, devils, Hell, social interaction
Loyal, hard worker, cares about the other six Virtues
Loud, socially inept, harsh
Cera is always well-organized and has good hygiene.
Social
Cera, being one of the Seven Virtues, is a good friend and comrade of Serro, Mikhail, Bianca, Virvios, Adriel, and Lania. She is the foil of Lunette, the Sin of Sloth, and an enemy to the other Seven Sins. The Goddess of Light,
Evelyn, is her mother.
Like all angels, Cera has no blood relatives, but considers the other six Virtues to be her brothers and sisters. She considers Evelyn, the Goddess of Light, to be her biological mother.
Like all angels, Cera is a devout follower of Evelyn, the Goddess of Light.
Cera, when it comes to interacting with people who are close to her, is awkward and doesn't know how to phrase her words correctly. She often stammers and clears her throat, avoiding eye contact. When it comes to doing her duty as a general however, she's straightforward, and speaks clearly and concisely, with no hesitation.
Cera is a researcher and inventor in her spare time.
When she wants to say something, she often yells "Listen up!" or "Hey!" or even "Shut up for a second, will you?!"

Although they're friends, their natures put them in direct opposition to each other, and Cera often one-sidedly argues with Adriel.
