Uligo
The homeworld of the Plasmoids a sentient ooze people.
There are also a host of nonsentient oozes across the planet.
The Human colony of Rottalim is on this planet, the first suitable breathable atmosphere planet that they found on their expansion. It is expanding fairly rapidly, but with the quite hostile surroundings, there is plenty of mercenary work.
Initially the Human's had to battle the more feral nonsentient oozes which constantly stumble across their settlements, but recently the hostilities have provoked the Plasmoids, who are currently at war with the Humans to try to protect their home.
Despite their smaller size and less advanced weaponry, the Plasmoids are currently doing a remarkable job at reclaiming any settled territory, most recently the newest colony was wiped out faster than a request for help can go out, only a week after being established. However, the largest more established colonies seem to be there to stay.
The Plasmoids are currently protesting the violent expansion of the Humans at The Omphalos, but as they do not have a seat on the council the diplomatic resolution is slow.
Geography
This planet is a very strange one, large pockets of the planets surface and subterrean areas are full of vicious oozes.
