R12: Prehistoric Predators Exhibit
The intact skeletons of several large prehistoric monsters are on display here, including the museum’s most famous display: the beautifully preserved body of an allosaurus, its leathery skin appearing supple to the touch. An informational placard next to the dinosaur explains it died in the Age of Creation and was naturally preserved. Display cases along the room’s walls hold fossils of other ancient local predators.
