Kiara Hollow
During the events of Session VI - The Medusa's Gaze Kiara is a new addition to the party, joining them after following their journey since the Slanty Tower. She quickly proves herself valuable, despite her sarcastic demeanor clashing with Myrtle's leadership. Kiara plays a key role in the party's encounters, from sneaking and stealing a potion from the Bullywug guards to negotiating with Bavlorna Blightstraw alongside Lilygrove. Her final assault helps defeat the Medusa, and she is deeply affected by Myrtle's death. Kiara's pseudo-dragon companion adds an extra layer of strategy to the group's efforts as they continue their adventure, navigating the dangerous alliances they have formed.
During the events of Session VII - The Electric Shock Kiara sends her pseudodragon familiar to scout the area, helping the party avoid potential traps. During the chaotic encounter with the wasps, Kiara unleashes an eldritch blast, contributing to the swarm's defeat. Inside the cottage, she plays a crucial role in the battle against the gelatinous cube, though her witch bolt accidentally harms Gahr. Kiara also plays a key role in uncovering Lilygrove’s betrayal, engaging in a tense confrontation and ultimately forging a fragile alliance with her against Bavlorna and the Hourglass Coven.
During the events of Session VIII - The Hag of Downfall Kiara finds herself increasingly at the center of the group’s complex situation as Charm queries her about a damaged pincushion resembling Endelyn Moongrave. Her attempt to divert Charm’s attention fails, drawing further suspicion. As the group explores Bavlorna’s cottage, Kiara discovers a tidy room filled with shadow boxes, most of which contain mummified pixies—except for one, which is conspicuously empty. This discovery adds to the growing mystery surrounding Bavlorna and the Hourglass Coven. During the exploration of the cottage, Kiara finds herself in a dispute with Tarin about Charm’s intentions, revealing the tension between the group members as they navigate their precarious alliances.
During the events of Session IX - The Blood Pact Kiara discovers important clues in Bavlorna’s cottage. In Nib’s Cave, Kiara is thrust into the spotlight when rumors about her actions in Prismeer come to light. She tells the party about her twin, Miara, blaming her for the malevolent deeds, but Lilygrove's shapeshifting into Miara forces Kiara to defend her story further. Kiara ultimately reveals her personal vendetta against Endelyn Moongrave, driven by the death of her wife.
During the events of Session X - The Unicorn of Wayward Pool Kiara initially refuses Talia's offer of support and later plays a lute during the campestris' dance. Kiara is also responsible for freeing a campestri from the jar she took from Bavlorna's pantry. During the journey to Wayward Pool, Kiara maintains her focus and plays a critical role in the battle against Zarak, identifying the assassin's location and attempting to take him down with eldritch blasts. Despite missing her target, Kiara's persistence in the fight is crucial to the party's success.
During the events of Session XI - The Knight and the Paladin Kiara identifies the magical properties of the greatsword Gahr finds but chooses not to inform him. She engages in combat with the redcaps during the skirmish by the oak tree and later takes part in the planning session to infiltrate Loomlurch. In the marketplace at Loomlurch, Kiara trades a trinket for sweets that leave marks on everything she touches. When Skabatha Nightshade petrifies Lilygrove, Kiara turns invisible and engages in the battle. She successfully retrieves an impression of Skabatha’s key from Naal and makes a copy using a smelting pot. Kiara also engages in the battle against the boggles and tin soldiers, helping to free the children in Loomlurch.
During the events of Session XII - The Massacre of Loomlurch Kiara wastes no time in picking a fight with Bahr, adding to the group's internal strife. She takes a set of cards depicting weeping children during the distribution of items. Throughout the battles that follow, Kiara fights bravely but ultimately falls to her death alongside the rest of the group. After her death, her body is encased in a stasis bubble, preserving her in a mysterious state, and her body is placed in the parties bag of holding.
