The Painted Kitsune Character in The End of the World | World Anvil

The Painted Kitsune

There are many locations this beast seems to call its domain. Many have seen her coming and going from the inn or bar, often curling up in a corner to observe the inhabitants' comings and goings. She seems small in those moments of tranquility, but come trouble she rises to her paws. With glinting teeth, she shows the true ferocity of a Forge Guardian.

The Painted Kitsune is a member of the Forge Guardians, and wanders the land in hopes of protecting those within it. Her tails appear to be dripping with paint, hence the nickname Painted Kitsune. If one is lucky, you can find her sharing quick displays of her artistic prowess within the inn and bar, if she is inspired by any of the patrons.   If one travels to the Rainbow Forest, you're likely to find painted pawprints, leading to the Kitsune's workshop, where she creates a multitude of works that she scatters to the winds.
Painted Kitsune Art Asset

The Rare Burn

While the Painted Kitsune is often active in the arts and patrolling the various buildings at The End of the World, she sometimes disappears for unknown and inconsistent periods of time. When she returns, she is often covered in soot, with small flickers of flames coiling around her paws. This is considered her 'burnout' state and she often lurks in shadows until those flames flicker out and the soot is washed out in the Waterfall of Inspiration.

Apparel & Accessories
