The FREE LORD of the VATHYRA line, LORD YARION is seemingly trapped in a cycle of vendetta with THORNS and he seems to have difficulty extricating himself from it. The attempts to slow the tempo on the attacks seemed to work for awhile until his son, SER DARNANT, engaged in some fairly vicious retaliation that seems to have clearly caught the attention of TJORN, the 'Thorn-Keeper'. Now LORD YARION cannot see a way out of this cycle and does not like where it is going for all of them.
