Ser Venderin Covaire

SER VENDERIN COVAIRE is the lord and knight of the family manor in the southern portion of the Eorldom of Shields. He was recently raised to the title due to his father's inability to maintain the standards of the position. As a page and squire, SER VENDERIN COVAIRE was rarely considered to be overly conversational though he learned his court lessons quickly. Taking control of the fief seems to have either given him a new confidence or allowed him to finally show his peers his quality. Regardless, he has been very industrious in addressing some neglect and issues on the manor. LORD THEOWAIN even complemented him at the banner-court in front of all and sundry.

The COVAIRE lineage was raised to vassalage in -63 which makes it still too recent in the eyes of the older Swords and Rhone veterans. They have been led by mediocre representatives for the past forty years and seem to have become accustomed to it. At least until the ascension of Ser Venderin Covaire to the seat--from that day forward, SER VENDERIN has demonstrated a fair talent for holding long-term grudges as he challenged a litany of old squire-mates to duels over their years-old behavior. It was handled in an efficient, business-like manner and when he had given some of it back, SER VENDERIN moved on as if it never was.

SER VENDERIN uses his size and endurance to great effect. His lance proficiency is average at best but his real combat skills shine off the tourney field. He has managed to display a youthful natural talent in both bladework and his favorite weapon: a spiked ball and chain.
