The COVAIRE line holds a single manor from THEOWAIN and serves in the LORD-KNIGHT THEOWAIN's forces under his personal banner. He serves under LORD THEOWAIN's pennant in service to SHIELDS. The fiefdom consists of a single manor and has seen its fortunes rise and fall over the years with accounts evening out between the shifts.
The COVAIRE lineage was raised to vassalage in -63 which makes it still too recent in the eyes of the older Swords and Rhone veterans. They have been led by mediocre representatives for the past forty years and seem to have become accustomed to it. The tide has shifted with the ascension of SER VENDERIN to the fief. SER VENDERIN took the title and responsibility at the request of the EORL after his father's tragic accident. Two years ago, SER VIRMAK--his father and lord--had fallen and struck his head on a flagstone such that it cracked the skull. His convalescence was long but he did heal physically. Unfortunately, his mental faculties were impacted and over the course of several months became progressively worse. As such, the EORL stepped in and commanded SER VENDERIN to assume control and care for his father.Since being raised to the title, SER VENDERIN has shown a resolute face to his peers and his martial skills surprised many who had trained with him in the past. The manor grounds and its residents have prospered and SER VENDERIN seems poised to increase their fortunes.
