The NORAMYR family holds claim to a large swath of land and coast between SHIELDS and SWORDS. This makes them one of the wealthier Free Lordships within Rhone. They have held the land for almost a century and a half are quite secure in their hold over it. They lay claim to the bustling port town of Caetis and attending villages ensures a steady income. They are better prepared for troubled times than most families with three fortified structures including Greymouth Keep and Thyr Keep. However, both of these fortifications are placed along the shore against raiders over the waters. Currently led by the Lady Artemia, the Noramyr family seems set to continue on its upward trajectory.

History
The NORAMYR family was given a Free Lordship over these lands in -87 BL by King Thyaras for services rendered in the 2nd Aenarian War. The original gift was expanded upon in -44 BL by the same King. Before and throughout this time span, the NORAMYR family was a strong proponent of trade and capital. The keen minds that they became known for lent itself to the intricacies of managing a small port along the Sword Coast.
The family received Thyr Keep and its attending settlements from King Tharyion's redistribution of assets to loyalists and supporters in last few decades of his reign.
The NORAMYR family fared better than most as Lord Daynas left his 24 year old son behind while he took up lance and shield in service of his Queen for a final time. While his son Areth lived only to forty-seven years due to the fighting against SWANS, he was able to navigate the family through the turbulent first two decades of the Queen’s absence.
