The BANNERLORD of the southern stretch of the Eorldom of Swords, Lord-Knight IADIR KOLAERE has held the seat for over fifteen years at this point. He is known as a brooding individual with unimpeachable loyalty to the Brynagar family as his father did before him. IADIR looks to be a man near ten years more senior due to the harsh life he has led in his duty to the Eorldom. His watch includes the southwestern stretch of the Giantspine Mountains and he has been fighting the MOUNTAIN CLANS all his life. This campaign of hard treks and brutal fights has left its mark many times over on Kolaere's face and body. His on-going feud with Manduin Broke-Ear, an infamous mountain raider-chief, is common knowledge throughout the Eorldom.Involvements
The KOLAERE family has long held suspicions and misgivings of the Gwalchmai. These feelings stem from old tales of the family that hint of witchcraft and the ability to transform themselves into wolves. Unfortunately, IADIR continues this trend and watches the new Lord Emrys Gwalchmai carefully.
55 ET, Summer-QUEEN'S TOURNAMENT-
Lord Kolaere displayed fine swordsmanship at the Queen's Tournament in 55 ET. He reached the Champions Square before losing to the Prince Sozhuu Bazikuna of Safnia.

The Lord-Knight and Warleader have been skirmishing for over a decade along the foothills of the Giantspine Mountains. Numerous times has one or the other nearly captured or slain the other. The rancor between the two men is legendary.
