Alderanean, Auxilaries

Alderaneans, Auxilaries, Educated or Councilians are the ten percent of the Vulgar population, taken at age twelve to be educated on Bellis Orba and latter serve as representatives of the Domain on its world. In the same way as Evens, Alderaneans are united in their education despite the variety in their origins, though they often keep more of their homeworlds costumes, being taken away at a latter age. They stand in a strange position, being an elite among vulgar but still seen with contempt by Alderans, strangers ruling wherever they are assigned while working for the foreigners that took them away from their worlds.

Culture

Rites de Passage à l'âge adulte

All Alderanean are taken from their families at age 12. Each world of the domain has its own mean of selecting the soon to alderanean, from random lottery to appointment from the most esteemed families.   Regardless of those divergence, the following steps are universal. A full 10% of a generation will be gathered in the multiple spatio-port of their world. They will attend a farewell ceremony during which they will renounce their connection with their home-world and swear fealty to the Council and to the Imperium. They will then start embarking on gigantic super-transporters and be randomly assigned to rooms in which they will share their intimacy with nine other soon to be Alderanean during the transit.   Depending on the position of the world they are from, the fresh recruit may take weeks or months to reach Bellis Orba, in the meantime they will undergo physical and psychological testing and a battery of educational sessions. As their trip reach to an end, they will be assigned to new teammates, picked from different worlds to minimize attachment to their origins. When the full generation is finally gathered, a last ceremony is held, combined with several days of activities culminating in the granting of the title of Alderanean.

Tabous Communs

Auxiliaries, indoctrinated by the Alderan Domain, adhere to strict taboos to reinforce social cohesion and control dissent. Among the commonly shared ones: 1. **Questioning Authority:** Openly challenging the directives of Alderan superiors is strictly taboo. Dissent is viewed as a threat to order and punished severely. 2. **Cultural Dissent:** Expressing nostalgia or admiration for one's native culture, especially if it contrasts with Alderan ideals, is taboo and deemed subversive. 3. **Neglecting Duty:** Failing to fulfill assigned roles diligently is taboo, as it's seen as a betrayal of the duty to the state.   These taboos are reinforced through propaganda, social monitoring, and severe penalties, ensuring a compliant and uniform Auxiliary population.

Ideals

Idéaux de Beauté

Auxiliaries idea of beauty has been meticulously designed by the Domain to instill a sense of conformity, discipline, and loyalty among them. The propaganda machinery emphasizes certain features and traits that align with the Domain's vision of order and servitude.   The quintessential Auxiliary is expected to maintain a neat and uniform appearance. Grooming standards are strict, with clean-shaven faces for males and modest hairstyles for both genders. The uniformity of appearance symbolizes the homogeneity and discipline of the collective.   Auxilary fashion discourage any distinctive or unique features that might set an individual apart. This aversion to individuality is rooted in the desire for conformity and the suppression of personal identity in favor of allegiance to the state.   Adornments and accessories that express loyalty to the Domain, such as badges, pins, or uniform embellishments, are considered an integral part of beauty. These symbols are meant to remind Auxiliaries of their duty and allegiance.   These beauty standards are not merely aesthetic preferences; they are tools of social control and cohesion. The Alderan Domain uses them to mold Auxiliaries into a disciplined, obedient, and uniform workforce, ensuring that the population remains steadfast in their allegiance to the state.

Idéaux de Relations

During their training, fraternisation is frequent among Alderanean. The close proximity of people of their exact same age and stress linked to their apprenticeship combined with their teen age are known by instructors to be an explosive cocktail. Such relationships are not seen as positive or negative, however it is forbidden for students to become parent. Any early pregnancy will be terminated while couples who manage to hide their pregnancy long enough are systematically taken by disciplinary officers, never to be seen again.
