Marisla is the second and water planet of the elemental galaxy. It consists of several archipelagos across the ocean that make up most of the planet. It is tropical in climate, warm and humid. it's many islands have diversely colored sand, the most common four being a bright yellow, a typical sand color, white and black, though it also has dark brown sand and even red or pink along sand with many more colors. Various types of coral grow underwater deep below the islands. The ocean is pleasantly cooling to most who visit, though visitors must still be careful of the occasional tropical storm.

Geography

Marisla is filled with archipelagos scattered around a massive ocean. The water is mostly salt water, however. The few places of drinkable fresh water are either found in small streams or ponds made from rainwater or are inside palm trees and other plant life. The sand the islands are made of come from rocks, stones and even crystals along with bits of coral that were weathered away over millions of years. The islands are filled with diverse plant life. The clean, dazzling aqua blue waters are inviting to any tourist who comes by.

Ecosystem

Marisla is warm and welcoming to both locals and visitors. The locals have evolved to master swimming with traits like gills, flipper like hands, or even water-proof feathers/scales/fur. The local animals often form groups on certain islands and regularly travel to one another. Often, one island will be saved to have a storm shelter built on it in case a tropical storm occurs.

Ecosystem Cycles

During winter, the many islands of Marisla pick up larger chunks of rock, stone, crystals and coral and during the winter, the chunks are mostly absent during the summer. Many plants also grow during the spring and summer. During mid-summer and mid fall, tropical storms kick up sands and create bizzare dunes. The local animals also prefer to go dive for fish between high and low tide.

It has violent tropical storms at times, which bring heavy rain that falls hard enough to actually hurt when they fall on you.
