Sarah Longtail (a.k.a. Magma)
Magma is a volcano siren from the planet Pyrus, she is the main protagonist of the series, creating a group known as "The Fearsome Four" out of other elemental animals. She left her home of Pyrus after being a shut-in for three years after her frustrations towards others burst into anger before falling into a depressive state, hiding away to try and protect herself from others and vice verse as well.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Magma is sleek and thin. She is in excellent health and is fit enough to battle regularly.
Body Features
Magma has scarlet red scales with a rather long tail. Otherwise, she is perfectly normal for her species.
Facial Features
Magma has an iguana shaped face, though like the rest of her species, she lacks any sagging skin, spines, and large checks.
Special abilities
Magma, being a Volcano Siren, has many abilities, from breathing fire to heating the slime on her scales to over 160 degrees. Her slimy scales also allow her to wade and even swim through lava with no injuries and take no damage from fire. Because Volcano Sirens are amphibians, she can also breathe underwater. Magma can also regenerate her tail.

Personal history
Magma's many problems, like isolation, fearful view and an ever-growing anger, were constantly glossed over. She needed a real friend, something she lacked in her life, and she never had one. No one took her seriously enough to help her and be truly by her side and instead dismissed her issues, while others in the same situations were given instant treatment. This went on for so long that she became resentful or even flat out hateful of others. No matter what happened, her life never improved, so, in a fit of frustration, she fled her first home to live as a hermit.
After three years, she was deep in depression and could not handle the situation anymore, so she fled Pyrus to form The Fearsome Four and live as a nomad.

Magma does not know her sexuality and cares little about it, because she would rather deal with anything else in her life before that, though she did try to flirt with both male and female sapients before now.

She is a pessimist who holds little faith or hope in others as her trust has been broken constantly throughout her life, if something bad happens to her now, she will often just snark at you a bit then return to business as normal because even the most horrible torment is just "More crap" in her eyes. She prefers to handle tasks on her own and gets nervous when having to do something with a group.

Shaking hands with others with her own hands, to her, it shows that one is willing to submit to the other and is perfectly willing to paint a fake smile and go along with what the other says, no matter how ridiculous it may be. As a result, she always shakes the hands of others with her tail.

Motivation
Her motivation for leaving Pyrus and exploring the other planets instead was because the social environment of apathy Pyrus had, which drained Magma all of her hope in others and turned her into the jaded woman she currently is.

She is the leader of The Fearsome Four. She is quite close to them and likes to explore the eleven planets with them. She is especially close to Midnight, who she sees as a best friend, because Magma is not only proud of the fact that she got to humble an overconfident woman like Midnight but even got her to join her group. Magma likes Midnight because, due to her horrid life experiences, sees the most other sapients as unintelligent, rude, and inconsiderate pieces of crap that somehow run the galaxy, so, seeing someone like Midnight to her, is not a "shady woman" but just plain "normal" an example of what happens if a typical sapient is given power and money. Even though Magma knows Midnight is not actually normal and is in fact, quite viceful, Magma just glances this over, because Midnight is one of the few to validate her less than ideal views of others, as Midnight sees others as chances to get something done, tools to use, or puzzles to solve, as Magma sees others as so selfish, cruel and idiotic, that she believes that they deserve the treatment Midnight gives them.

She is normally quite awkward with most others, but she's been getting better the more time she spent with the four.

She often has a bored or apathetic tone of voice, even when it's not, it is often mildly annoyed. She seeks to try and experience more diverse emotions instead of the cycle of emotional dullness she was in. She uses the word "Lovely" almost exclusively in a sarcastic sense.
