The Dayspring
The Dayspring, also often referred to as the Dawncaller, was known to be a strong and proud god, often connected to light and the sun, on occasion even with fire. Various Elphead carvings show him in opposition to the Dirge, which at first surprised scholars who expected his opposing figure would be the Eventide. This has led to the assumption that the Dayspring was also seen as the god of life or possibly birth.
The Dayspring was one of the gods who were directly involved in the beginning of the Doomsday Century, and was the first to outright declare war on the Syolladver. After the war ended, he was the last Elphedver to leave the Outer Planes and walk among Syollans.
