The Hall of Magic

The Hall of Magic in Khazad-Gathol was supposed to have been a huge and ornate complex in the center of The Hollow Mountain.
Spells were etched into bronze sheets instead of parchment and prominent ones where displayed on the walls, while others were confined to rows of codices attached to reading tables along the walls.
In addition there are legends of spells that have been lost. Ancient dwarven warmages (magical scholars have been starting to use the term Vulcanist for these legendary magi) often seem associated with magma, molten metal, gas explosions and earthquakes. Exactly what theses spells were and how they were used appears to vary wildly, but these commonalities remain.
Many of these traditions were lost during the fall.
