Vyronclarke
Vyronclarke is a city on the continent of Equatoria which gained a charter during the era of the Trade Wars in 2056 AF.
Industry & Trade
Much of the economic activity of the city is based around the mines in the nearby hills which are particularly rich in silver. Skilled silversmiths have built a community capable of producing exceptionally fine crafted artefacts. They make a specific alloy of the local silver with copper from the Copper Scoops in the south of the continent, imported palladium and nickel from Trass and trace elements that are trade secrets. This is known as Vyronsilver and it is prized above the raw silver for its qualities of lustre and strength.
Whilst the city might be best known for its silver work, it is also an important centre for more traditional metalworking of many kinds, including the smelting of conventional and specialist steels and the engineering and manufacture of metal goods of many kinds.
Districts
Built on three hills and the rivers that flow from them, the richest areas of housing are the ones at the top of the hills and to the west, where the prevailing winds carry smoke away. Lower down, jungle trees grow freely between the heavy and light factories that line the river banks.
