The Law Council

The Law Council was the ruling body of Anoomenon for more than six hundred years, between 1511 AF, when the city declared itself independent of the New Sophisticates and 2118 AF, when the Rationalist Council took control.

The leader of the Law Council was called the Prime Lawmaker.

Disbandment

The Law Council was swept from power after the term of the last Prime Lawmaker, Kenneth Thurston.

Foreign Relations

The Prime Lawmaker, in addition to chairing the Law Council meetings, was also responsible for foreign policy and for defence.
