Iteration One in The Discontinuum | World Anvil

Iteration One

Iteration One of fey history has more significant differences from Iteration Two than Iteration Two has from Iteration Three. The "Shudder" as the fey call it, or the "Tide" as the Stability Council prefers to refer to it, was stronger when it rebuilt the timeline after Iteration One.   In Iteration One, the Fey Court was settled much earlier, bringing the Age of Wandering to an end sooner. The fey did not choose to be ruled by kings and queens, instead ordering their political culture as a kind of democracy with its centre at a structure they called the Hub of the World, a large circular amphitheatre in the south of Tân y Gwanwyn. The conflicts that afflicted the Age of the First Wars in Iteration Two and Three did not happen, but there was strife with the Saturated Sting during the time that would become the Age of Lost Memory in Iterations Two and Three.
