Alice Kerambe

Alice Kerambe

Alice Kerambe was a maid of the Rani of Katrapetch, Mehera Rajput in the 31st century APC.   On 12th Pruth, 3083 APC she was part of a small group of servants attending to her mistress who was visiting the hot springs at the Fereundun Falls. That was the same day that Clarise Vabatan killed the Rani in an event made to look like an accident. Alice, who might have witnessed something suspicious was later accused of stealing the necklace known as the Phyrne Jewels from the Rani. Although innocent of the crime, she was convicted and subjected first to corporal punishment and later to a life time of hard labour in the Celovass fields south of the city, events which are related in the 4th and 5th volumes of the Diary of Clarise Vabatan.
