Vampire
Vampires are among the most powerful and dangerous humanoid creatures in the known worlds.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Vampires are physically attractive. They have red eyes and cold, pale skin. They are capable of healing from any wound.
Genetics and Reproduction
Vampires are incapable of reproducing with each other. Female Vampires are unable to get pregnant. However, if a male Vampire has relations with a Human female, she will always become pregnant. Due to the nature of the pregnancy, the child is fully developed within three months. The birthing is extremely strenuous, and the mother is usually unable to survive the birth. The child is known as a Dhampir, half-vampire and half-human.
Growth Rate & Stages
When a Human is turned into a Vampire, they stop physically aging completely.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Vampires require blood to survive. Any kind of blood is suitable for a Vampire to consume, however, a Vampire that consumes human blood will be significantly stronger than a Vampire that consumes animal blood.
Civilization and Culture
History
All Vampires are descended from the same being -- the First Vampire, named Dravan. Dravan was born a Vampire, though then he was called an Unnatural, due to the nature of his birth as well as the early days of his life.
