Princess Nataleigh Bisku (a.k.a. The Eternal Princess, Lady of Our Hearts)
What can be said about our wonderful Princess that hasn't been said before? That her fame crossed the oceans and mountains? Her beauty had no rival? All these are legends, fables. They can be true but they don't matter. What matters is that she was a good person and strived to instill goodness in all those around her, not by words but by actions. She is the reason that the Empire changed for the better, influencing more than half of the world.

Personal history
Princess Nataleigh was born to unknown parents, in the waters of the Bewildered Cove. That is speculation and has never been confirmed. But what can be confirmed is that she was found as a baby, floating near a beach close to what today is the city of Fuchsia. She was found by an older couple, farmers. They raised her as if she was their own daughter, never having children.
Princess Nataleigh was raised in turmulous times for Ilion. Empress Nystraea was in charge and was persecuting foreigners and those that were deemed as unworthy. Princess Nataleigh would be hidden for the majority of her childhood, her parents afraid of what they might do to a child that looked different. When the Princess was about 17 cycles old a neighbor betrayed her existence to the local Constable and a regiment of Inquisitors was sent to her home. There are so many legends about what actually happened that it's almost impossible to know for sure. The one with the most merit though is that the leader of the regiment, Inquisitor Reklas, future Emperor of Ilion, was enthralled by her kind nature that he ordered the regiment to dissolve and took her under his care.
Soon word came to the Empress herself of a unique young lady, who was gaining fans with her kindess and good nature. Intrigued she invited Reklas and the Princess to her court but became enraged when according to rumours, the Princess garnered more attention than her. Furious she ordered the execution of the pair, who were saved by Prince Gaston, her son. The trio left the capital together, with the Prince becoming enamored with the Princess.
Soon after that, with Reklas gathering troops loyal to him and with Prince Gaston at the helm a revolt against the Empress began. However, reports say that it was one of the most peaceful revolts. Historians dubbed it The Velvet Glove and it is said that no blood was spilled, thanks to the Princess. People, tired of the Empress' shenanigans seemed to flock to the new group, weaking her influence. Finally, gathering the entirety of their followers, they marched to Azalea in what is known today as The March of Peace. Gathering even more followers on the way, the Empress was forced to resign and fled to Nove Quisia.
Prince Gaston took over the throne, marrying Princess Nataleigh and starting a realm of profound peace and prosperity. The Illustrious Empire of Ilion kept its name but neighboring kingdoms begun negotiations to attach their territories with Ilion. Ilion grew, without so much as a battle.
Alas, assassins, rumored to have been sent by the Empress, struck in the dark of night and the Princess was killed, together with her husband. Reklas, honoring the wishes of the Princess declined to chase after her assassins or declare war on Nove Quisia for harboring Empress Nystraea. Ilion continued to prosper and built upon the foundations that the Princess set.
Education
Princess Nataleigh was initially homeschooled by her parents, who gave her what little knowledge they had. When she was introduced to Reklas and taken under his care, the latter hired a tutor who completed her education.
Princess Nataleigh was a believer in education and is known as one of The Founders of the Academy, despite never showing magical expertise and only providing funding and support.

Princess Nataleigh, despite her title was a Princess only by marriage. She was beloved by her people though, despite that.
