Camp Nordic Frog

Camp Nordic Frog is a small settlement on a tropical island on the planet of Nordic Frog Beach. Founded by Lux and governed by Duarte Price, Camp Nordic Frog is a testament to human ingenuity, drive, and toughness.

Demographics

102 Earth refugees from Duarte Price's band. Earth refugees are scrappy, tough, good at hiding, and they can hold their own in a fight. They've got good MacGyver skills, but they're also suspicious and secretive.
Five scientists who formerly worked for the Planetary Consortium. They have skills in nanofabrication, geology, botany, astronomy, and aerospace engineering. They are non-combatants and will surrender if in a combat situation.
Four captives taken from Icy Foyer. Not much is known about these people. Three of them used to be surveillance and habitat technicians, and the fourth was an engineer piloting a battle mech.

Government

Duarte Price is in charge here. He maintains authority through respect from the populace, but he also is heavily armed and has military experience. He has six elite soldiers who back him up, so it's possible that no one will say no to him because of the threat of force.

Infrastructure

Scientific equipment, including a workshop, a nanofabricator, an exowomb, and a laboratory capable of precise analysis was brought over from Triton. Four habitat domes built for Triton's atmosphere were also brought over, and can shelter up to twenty people.
Some rudimentary dwellings made out of pounded clay bricks, local rubberfibers, and scavenged supplies that were brought from Earth have been put up as well. There are about twenty buildings that are capable of sheltering everyone.
Several solar panels and wind generators attached to a large battery sit in the center of the settlement. Wires large and small splay about. Power stored in the battery is free for anyone to use.

Assets

A nanofabricator the size of a dining room table. This nanofabricator (when properly powered and fed a steady supply of carbon) is capable of creating any object that it has the schematic for.
An exowomb. When fed biological agents and powered, it can grow any adult sleeve that it has the design for over the course of two weeks.
A high-altitude airplane with a combination of propeller and jet propulsion capable of reaching extremely high altitudes. It was made to dock with space vessels in low orbit.
A scarred, matronly Nordic Winged Eel who is friends with The "Scrud". She views the island that Camp Nordic Frog is on as her territory and the people who live there as her subjects.

Geography

Camp Nordic Frog is on a low-lying tropical island. Most of the settlement is set away from the planet's Gate on the beach, although sensitive equipment and the scientists' structures are higher up on the hill that dominates the island's interior.
The island's center is a shallow bowl filled with native pirinci, the avocado-like grain crop. The bowl in the center also hosts the nest of a Nordic Winged Eel.
