Vinterdyret, the Bestial Blizzard

Have you ever looked outside at the winter night and watched the snow swirl, wondering what's hiding in the cold? In the Dark Forest, the answer is Vinterdyret.
Born out of necessity and anger, this creature was once Bjorn, who used to protect the Campgrounds. With the incoming threat of the Dark Forest's newest cinder, the Ashvine, Bjorn sacrificed himself to the Salamanderflame. Making a deal with the fire cost him most of his memories, but he still vaguely remembers that he's forgotten something and is now fueled by the destruction of the Ashvine's tendrils. He prowls the Dark Forest as its unconcious protector, still searching for what he lost but not knowing who took it from him.

General Physical Condition
Vinterdyret has two forms, the first being a mist that freezes anything it touches with a pair of burning purple eyes over a heart of purple fire. As this form freezes more objects ice begins to form a cage around the Salamander Flame heart. Quenching other Salamander Flame entities (mostly Cinders) will speed this up immensely. Eventually, the cage grows thick enough that it begins to form legs, and the second form begins.
In the second form, Vinterdyret is a massive beast of ice. The form was created from Bjorn's old memories of his homeland, and borrows from all of the animals there. It has the body of a bear, the front legs, talons, beak and wings of an owl, the head of a wolf, and the antlers of a stag. Once in this form Vinterdyret loses much of its speed from the first form, but instead gains a frightening strength that rivals that of the Dark Forest's colossi.
Special abilities
While in the first form, Vinterdyret is capable of high mobility and can pass through most solid objects. Passing through objects also freezes them solid and contributes to the creation of its second form. Notably, it also absorbs Salamander Flame, allowing Vinterdyret to see the memories of creatures that were infested with it.
In the second form, Vinterdyret gains a massive strength and form, as well as generating a howling blizzard that extends the longer the second form is maintained. As its reach expands, Vinterdyret feeds on the freezing lives and gets even bigger.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
When Vinterdyret was born, the Salamander Flame consumed many of its memories from its time as Bjorn. However, it left him with faint memories of someone important to him. Unable to recall even her name, Vinterdyret mistakenly assumed the Ashvine had stolen them and charged into the Dark Forest, hunting for the Smoldering Bramble. Unable to be effected or even touched by the Ashvine, Vinterdyret became the one thing in the Forest that it couldn't control. Unopposed by any except the Salamander itself, Vinterdyret now struggles to find the heart of the Ashvine and crush it.
