Peafowl Alumin

Peafowl Alum is an pearlescent white metal found uniquely in the Fae homeland of Glitterstone Hollow. It is found in high purity veins all through the valley, typically only a few kilograms at a time, but huge boulders of it weighing several tonnes are occasionally found deep in the ground. This metal is one of several things that give Glitterstone Hollow its name, alongside the high density of reflective gemstones, giving the valley a glittering appearance when flying over it during times of day when the sun is angled just right.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Peafowl Alumin is a white metal with a pearlescent shine. It is relatively lightweight compared to other metals, comparable to aluminium, due to its low density. It is somewhat soft and malleable, hard enough that it can resist day-to-day wear, but soft enough that it can be easily worked into a useful form without the need to melt it down. It is also highly conductive so has become commonplace in fae-made electronics.

Origin & Source

Its origin for it has never been confirmed but it has been theorised to originate from the hypothetical meteorite that created the Glitterstone Hollow crater.
