Solan

God of Creation, patron of the Dwarf people.

Present

The Dwarves have very much kept Solan's traditions alive but the religious aspect has dwindled, the grand churches of Solan are now all but forgotten but it is tradition by engineers of all caliber to mark all there plans and devices with a small sun somewhere on it as thanks to Solan.
The influence of Solan is felt everywhere with most Dwarven art and technology having sun motifs or solar patterns, the naming conventions also too follow a Solar pattern, with the largest Void Ship company being Sun Spire, an obvious reference.

Ancient Times

The great forges of the Dwarves used to chime with hammer and anvil and hum with prayer to Solan. It is through desire to garner favour with the great creator that the Dwarven people came to develop the great technological wonders of the worlds. Not only were the followers of Solan great inventors, architects, smiths, tinkers and builders they also numbered among their order some of the greatest warriors laden with cutting edge black powder and steam technology. The high priest of Solan, was the leader of the Dwarven people, supreme commander of their armies and grand commissioner of sacred projects.
