Maksym Puhach
Maksym Puhach is the head of security within the Carnaval. Once a feared Greywood general, he now oversees the safety of all Carnaval workers and performers. While grumpy at first impression, Maksym is in reality a sweet man. In the evenings you will often find him playing dice with Jolly Baddock, and accusing him of cheating with a wry smile. Most often though, you will find him in the company of Wild Owen, a bear Harvester. He is both Maksym's main combat training partner, and confidante of all things. Surprisingly, recently he's been seen trying to woo Miss Serenae through drink and games. This has become the new favorite topic of the whole circus.
Maksym is wary of new folk joining the Carnaval, and is not afraid of voicing his concerns about how Madam Juno runs her circus. This has led to tense situations before but Jolly Baddock has always managed to diffuse the situation before it has gotten out of hand. Even though he used to fight for Greywood, Maksym shows no contempt towards Fey or Harvesters, but instead makes it well known he accepts both. In his awkward own way.
