Chapter Sixteen: Unidentified

General Summary

In front of a hospital in Chicago on April 12th, 2162, the Discontents found themselves compelled to spend their afternoon figuring out the staggering man that had followed them on Michigan Avenue.  Having realized he was associated with the Freemasons of Springfield, IL, Wei dug through the website of that chapter to see pictures that had an individual resembling the staggering man.  He was unable to verify their identity nor see if the strange eye feature observed by Sebastian was in the pictures as well. 
James decided to get a prepaid Personal Pocket Holographic Projector (aka a Triple-P) and set it up with the information of his alias.  Using that information, he left a message to the Chicago Chapter of Freemasons posing as a bored administrator for Northwestern Hospital, trying to identify the man.  As the Discontents got hot dogs from an automated vendor nearby, the Triple-P rang back with a call from Titus Hastings.  He reached out to see if the hospital could provide a picture of the individual in the hospital.  James explained they were not able to and told Titus that they were running toxicology tests.  After James hangs up on the call, Wei suggests they walk up to the reception area of the hospital and see if they can visit with the man. Wei and James walk in to inquire.  The reception area confirms that the unidentified gentleman was in the operating room currently. Wei and James leave to let Raymond and Sebastian know what they've heard. 
The Triple-P rings again, and this time a Haven Mai from the Freemasons calls continuing to inquire about the staggering man. James uses his same cover and let Haven know there would be more information available after emergency surgery the next morning.  James quickly ends the call with apprehension.  Around the same time Raymond decides to give some information to their new The Fighters of Greed contact as well as to The Truth Machine in hopes of getting more information. 
Hasan finally reaches James on his regular pip and sends the coordinates to meet and complete the exchange of the work at 6pm.  The Discontents confirm the plan with Bodi Poppiti in order to get the artificial funds that have been promised established.  The group confirm the goal of trying to neutralize Hasan's efforts as well as get additional information on what he was creating for Alphabet, Inc. The Discontents went to get a rental car and decided to examine the area an hour before the meeting.  Sebastian parks the rental car in a secluded area he scouted out near the meeting place, an overgrown area in the abandoned former suburbs of Chicago.  Both Sebastian and Raymond scout the area, and Raymond has found a squatting figure near a tree area in the location given.  After conferring with the group, everyone decided to leave and come back at the agreed time of 6pm on April 12th, 2162.
