Ichabod, known by most as "Bodi", was the oldest of two children in the Poppiti household. His mother was a researcher in the agriculture department of Delaera, while his father handled the janitorial services in lab environments, partly run by sanitation bots throughout the country.
Bodi was not the most brilliant in sciences, but excelled in the social sciences in particular. As he continued his schooling in Delaera, he excelled at group projects and persuasive essays. His peers didn't always recognize his skill set, but his teachers encouraged him to hone in on his talents.
When he was done with secondary education, he immediately applied for administration position in Virgin Galactic and its sister companies, within and outside the borders of Delaera. Starting as a lab schedule manager, Bodi made moves for positions with more responsibility. His professionalism and attention to the needs of any personnel under his supervision helped him rise through the ranks. In 2159 his was promoted to be the assistant to the Chief Executive of Delaera,
Bodi is known around Delaera as a fan of mysteries, whether he's reading them or watching them. Although extremely friendly, he and his wife seem to be more home bodies, and aren't seen out and about when not working.
