Watvalla

Watvalla is one of the larger towns in Knurden, larger even than the capital "city" Sturdjal. Watvalla is home to the Lord of the Central Fjords who holds both a lot of political and military power. When Fjurmann unified the clans of Knurden in his newfound kingdom many believed he would make Watvalla its capital. Instead the rule of Watvalla was given to his brother-in-law Krember.
Many people wonder what cause king Fjurmann to make such a decision. Some argue that Sturdjal is where Fjurmann grew up and feels most like home to him. Others say that Krember is pulling a lot of the strings behind the curtains, and Fjurmann is no more than a puppet. It is believed that, even though the kingdom has only been founded recently, Krember is already forging alliances with neighboring towns and lords, aiming to take Fjurmann's place as king.
