District: New Home

The salvaged remains of the once-feared moon-like weapon platform, Warworld. New Home started as the largest piece of Warworld that had survived after its destruction, where most of the population quarters were located. Saved by the Green Lantern Corps, but left near Port Atlantica alongside with the survivors. The City Council decided to resolve the situation by integrating these remains into the city and rebuilding it into its own functional district to host these interstellar refugees. Now, New Home is Port Atlantica's very own small taste of the stars, combining the brutalist, futuristic architecture of Warworld, with alien living quarters more akin to towers and pyramids, but with all the living accommodations necessary, as well as green areas and even parts wholly reconstructed with a mixture of human and alien sensibilities. Most of the population of the district consists of extraterrestrial survivors, and others who prefer such company,
The district is also home to a host of eccentricities and unusual markets, legal and illegal, not available in the rest of the city. With many still selling - and scamming - salvaged alien or smuggled tech from Warworld or other visitors. It also contains several gladiatorial arenas once used by Warworld, but now repurposed for different public purposes.
