Cartographers Guild
Founded by reknowned explorer and Cartographer Giovanis Froncaris prior to his founding of the sister organization The Explorer's Conglomerate the cartographers guild is dedicated to documenting and creating maps of all types.
The primary goal of the cartographers guild is to provide maps of Traith in any variation that someone need. Whether a country or government needs detailed maps of it's country side or political borders of its'self as well as neighboring countires..
Often commissioned by independently wealthy nobles who wish to have their lands or estates well documented geographically.
Culture
A constant need to document and map the world around them and beyond. Memebers of the cartographers guild come from many different cultural and professional backgrounds yet all have a shared goal of mapping all that is. As their numbers grew a few of which happened to be magic user which expanded the guilds reach beyond that of Traith itself and into its cosmology.
Public Agenda
To map as much of what is known as possible and provide the most accurate and up to date maps available.
Assets
Have guild halls in almost every major settlement across Traith as well as many port cities scattered across the shores of Traith. The guild does own several sailing vessels and one airship.
The Cartographers guild opened several of its own colleges over the course of history. Some of these educational institutions still exist to this day. Others were either sold off, closed, or converted into training institutions for the The Explorer's Conglomerate the Cartographers Guild sister organization.
History
Founded midway through the first age by famed adventuree, explorer and cartographer Giovanis Froncaris. Fueled by his insatiable thirst to explore further than anyone before him.
