History

Mining Expedition

Before the Tekeron 7 was officially built, it origins officially started an expeditionary force from the Deckeron Mining Corporation that sought to harvest the gas clouds on the gas giant Gabes in order to create a refinery to produce Serite Fuel. They were the first to conduct such a venture since no one had been to the Gabes since the early day of space exploration more than two thousand years prior. After a few weeks of testing and gathering samples, it was determined that the green gas giant was suitable for harshness, they had begun to set up the foundation of the foundry. In the coming weeks, many workers were brought in to build Tekeron 7 and harvest the gas from the Gabes finally having the station complete within four months to become a full operational refinery. Making it one of the farthest settlements at the edge of known space with very few people ever coming out here.

Maintaining Production

Since it was created, Tekeron 7 has been a highly productive station due to its demand for Serite Fuel, this is mainly due to the fact that the green gas collected and refined here is more potent than other gases used to create. Making whoever has control of the gas and the station will become very wealthy as long as maintains production. Due to that reason, the production of Serite is constantly maintained to ensure the highest amount of revenue, often at the expense of the workers that live here. While placing miners in such a difficult working environment may seem downright criminal to many, this is mainly unknown to the public. Mainly due to the fact that they are on the edge of the system with few people around to notice and supply ships only coming around once every month. This makes the station one of the most isolated and difficult places to work in because of this and no one to really stop it from happening.

Geography

Tekeron 7 is found orbiting the gas giant Gabes, the last planet in the Lenthar System, and is one of the few settlements found this far out in the edge of the system. Leaving nothing but space and a green gas giant to be seen in the vast darkness of space.

Climate

The environmental systems on the station ensure that it keeps it at standard room temperature to make it as comfortable as possible twenty-four seven.
