Personal history

Before the Fall

The Scion is considered one the greatest dangers to the world, for its obsession to consume it into his domain was not always such. Once upon a time, since the world's creation, the Scion was a bringer of balance like all the other gods that ruled over their domain. His role was keeping the light of its sibling, the Guardian, the god of light, in check. Despite its elusive nature and desire for isolation, it was also a god of dreams for all to enjoy in sleep. Even aiding mortals to be whisked away from danger with his darkness for none to see them. Even aiding in the wars with its siblings against the evils that would see the world destroyed, from that Daemon and Nameless Ones until they were defeated. However, in times such as these, the Scion often struggled with the intoxicating spread of its domain during these conflicts, which brought great darkness to them. It was not until the Great Cataclysm or the War of the Gods would he finally fall to its influence, resulting in him going made in the process even after the war was over. This would eventually result in his imprisonment by the Architect, the Overlord of Creation, imprisoned in a sarcophagus to trap his darkness and sent into a realm of light to keep him there until it came to their senses. However, that never happened, and despite its imprisonment, it did not halt all of its powers and influence from spreading over those with darkness and sickness in their hearts. This leads to some of the greatest evils and conflicts across the ages to occur in the attempt to take over and one day be free from its imprisonment.

Desire to Consume

The Scion, consumed by madness, has never stopped attempting to plunge the world into darkness. It has attempted to gain control, from wars to natural disasters. Its many followers are some of the most infamous individuals that have ever existed. But its crowning achievement was that of the Black Blade and its many wielders that would become its champion throughout the ages. But the Scion can only use its power for short periods due to its imprisonment. But when it does use it, it will be forth a time of termoil and darkness where ever it happens to gain influence. Even the smallest amount if the dark gods influence can cause to world to be a state of chaos in the attempt to weaken it or strengthen its influence. The strong its influence the more powerful it may become in the hopes that one day it may be strong enough to become free its prison and once more cover the world in darkness.
