Object arrived at 8:47pm under guard at research station Zulu.
Object in special containment container to ensure no exposure from object at 8:50pm
Object seems to be meteor fragment that crashed land several thousand years ago. Object appears to be pitch black and admitting strange energy signature. Object was discovered in Middle East in a cave suspected of being an al qaeda hideout. A SEAL team was dispatched to neutralize hostiles and gather enemy intelligence. SEAL team discovers all hostiles are killed in what appeared to be a fire fight with one another, others committed suicide after. Object was found in a chest covered in chains and holy symbols from the Quran carved and painted on it. Symbols were later discovered to be used to keep evil forces at bay. Team retrieved chest and returned to base soon after. All team members stated feeling something strange watching over them when returning to base. When chest was open and object was discovered inside it was immediately transported to a makeshift laboratory on base and studied over night. At 6:12am shot were fired in laboratory by Sgt. Joshua Howards, a member of the SEAL team that entered the cave and retrieved object. All inside the laboratory were killed by Howards leaving 3 scientists and 2 guards dead before he was arrested and put in a holding cell for interrogation. Howards kept repeating the same statement over and over again while being arrested. “ The Dark One will kill us all.” Howards was a SEAL for 10 years and had been through 6 tours and multiple missions before incident. Possibility of exposure from object may cased physiological effect on Howards to go into this homicidal state. Howards commits suicide in his own cell by biting his tongue of before he was questioned. During the autopsy on his body it was discovered that the amygdala, the organ that controls fear was on the verge of bursting. No other alterations were discovered nor signs of chemical in the bloodstream. The rest of SEAL team members were questioned and placed in corentin. Object was then transferred to here for further study.

Object was analyzed by to see if any chemicals or radiation. The results show negative for some reason. Further tests are needed to understand what this thing is.
Day 2 September 4, 2013
Sample extractions were done today to see if any known elements can be identified on the object. Extractions were unsuccessful, none of the tools were able to even able to scratch the surface of the object and instead to the tools themselves were completely destroyed. Further test on its durability were inconceivable. A titanium drill was unable to pierce it, extreme heat and cold did do anything either. Whatever this thing is made out of is completely indestructible. Different methods must be used to understand this strange object.

Geothermal reading on object brought more questions to this scientific mystery. The exact temperature of the object is -1000 degrees. But there are no signs of temperature change in the containment unit. This object is getting stranger and stranger by the moment

Over the past several days, We have been testing organic life to see if object alters anything. First test was on bacteria, the foundation of all life on Earth. When they made contact with object, they evaporated immediately with no trace that they ever existed. Plant life shriveled up and died in 7.4 seconds, leaving nothing left but a black substance. Rodents were the next and somehow survived for 12 hours before dying. Autopsies showed sign of mutation in the rodents but no signs of decay. Further experiments are needed to collect more accurate data.

The director wanted me to move to human subjects immediately. I was not too thrilled about it. Rodents are one thing, but human beings are completely different no matter what they have done in their life. He wants to finish with the rest of my other experiments before they arrive in the lab. This is not going to be a pleasant thing to do.

Day 15 September 17, 2013
The human subjects arrived today, all three subjects are death row inmates from a prison that has been kept secret from me. No will ever bother of looking into the subjects anyway, everyone they ever known thinks that they are dead by now, if they only knew what they beginning put through. The tests began with low exposure to object. Subjects felt nausea, dizziness, and headaches. None were killed by exposure.

Exposure to object is altering each subject differently. One committed suicide last night and another is in comma. Which leaves two subjects left standing. One of them has snapped mentally and refuses to eat. Is repeating the same words Howards said before he died, “ The Dark one will kill us all!” The other subject is he is changing physically and is talking to himself. The subject is one Trevor Philips, he was sentenced to death on thirty degrees of murder. He is a serial killer who escaped the authorities for years before being caught. Something doesn’t feel right about any of this, I need to find answers.

After a long a difficult search if several things. This object has historical value to my surprise. The earliest records show that it was in the possession of Julius Caesar after his conquest of Gaul. Then in was given to his friend Brutus as a gift and later he murdered Caesar in the Senate chamber. After that it gets into the hands of several Roman Emperors, including Caligula and Nero. Later ends up in the hands of Attila the Hun. It goes on and on, Gangis khan, Kubla Khan, Vlad the Impaler, Ivan the Terrible, with so many others. The last known owner was Adolf Hitler for christ sake and it somehow ended up in the Middle East. This stone has ended up in the hands of the worst human bringing that ever lived. What if this thing caused them to be like this and turned them into the monsters that ended up as. This thing is pure evil and has to be deposed of immediately.

I tired to get the director to stop the project and get rid of the stone, but he won’t listen to me at all. He says that this research is to keep going until we now everything about it. Philips is getting worse, the exposure is making him less and less human by the day as he is absorbing the energy of the stone.

I did some more research into the stone, is worse than I thought. Hernando Cortes found a similar stone during his conquest of the Aztec Empire, the natives must have thought it was a god or something. He held onto it for a before hiding it someplace so it could never be found. What if there are more fragments across the earth than we thought and if so what might happen if all the pieces were brought back together. I can’t let that happen, the stone must be hidden away.

Philips broke out of his containment cell and went after the stone, he killed several guards and researchers. The containment container was destroyed and when he touched the stone let out a strange vibration across the station. I activated the the failsafe protocol and Philips was incinerated, but the stone remains. It now but in a safe room and the only one with access is the director.

I have been going over the vibration readings caused by stone, I soon realized that the stone going over in a repeated loop. After a deeper Analysis of the readings it showed something shocking, it’s a voice! It’s not in any known language on earth, but alien in nature. Just listen to just makes me feel afraid. The stone itself is alive somehow and it causing all this on purpose. It wants to find the other fragments to become whole again. I have to get rid of it by any means necessary.
Day 29 October 1, 2013 The station was attacked by unknown asslinents, most of the staff is dead and I think I’m the only one left. I have the stone in my possession, locked in a containment container. I had to kill the director to get it, he was exposed to the stone and wanted it for himself. I've been exposed to it myself, I can hear it calling me right now. I have to get rid of it as soon as possible. As for the asslinents they are still looking for me, they want the stone.
Day 34 October 5, 2013

It's been several days since my escape and everything going downhill since then. From what I have been hearing on private channels, The attack has been kept classified and I have been made a person of interest. I must have been the only survivor for them to fixated on me not to mention having a foreign object of unknown origin in my possession. I have been traveling non stop since and have been keeping a low profile. I have to get rid of it, the voice is getting worse and worse by the day. But I have to make sure It doesn’t do any damage or is discovered by anyone.

I have done it, that twisted son of a bitch is gone! I hid him someplace where no one will find him without my help, I free from his voice once and for all. Now I just have to start my life all over again.

To anyone reading this final message, I know that this is far from over. There are other fragments across the world that are yet to be discovered. But the true enemy is still out there and searching for them. That can not happen, if it did who knows what damage it could do to the world. You must find me if things get worse, it's the only way that can happen. This is bigger than any of us can imagine. The fate of the world hangs in the balance.
