Wither Ghast

Wither Ghasts are considered exceptionally powerful Wither Wraiths, but are so unique in form that they are considered in a class of their own. A Wraith typically becomes a Ghast by devouring the souls of dozens of mortals - usually those foolish enough to enter the Dark Tapestry, or wander around old Dominion cities. Some scholars believe that Wither Ghasts can also be created from creatures who make the pilgrimage into the Dark Tapestry and sign a "black book". However, this would be incredibly difficult to validate, and is therefore just a theory.
