Phillis

Phillis (a.k.a. Graham Cracker)

Phillis was Chad's guardian, and the sweetheart of the Spike. While many came to her street to visit her neighbors, the Lotterbee Brother's Tool Shop, more than a few shoppers stopped by to check in on the elderly Halfling, and often traded small gifts. Phillis knew everyone's name after the first time, never forgot a face, and had a way with people of all ages. She was the kind of lady who cut off the crusts on your sandwich, and always had a pie in the oven.
Chad was her shining achievement, and she marveled at the boy's oddities. She encouraged his gaming habit as long as he did his homework, and pushed him to constantly expand his horizons. She died sometime in the past few years, which seems to have been quite hard on Chad.
In a vision granted by the Dreamer, Mining Team 6 saw a darker side of Phillis. It seems she spent the majority of Chad's lifetime hiding him from Confluence, and got quite violent when they threatened the boy.
