  I take inspiration from a lot of Classical myth, Biblical scripture and general information floating around about the Bronze Age and its civilisations, along with some later empires.   In terms of fantasy writers, I’m influenced by writers such as David Gemmell, Brandon Sanderson, Brian McClellan, Robert E. Howard and David Eddings.
