Born on the Wild World, in 2510, Samsin had a twin sister Tamsin. These two were the only pilgrims from the 2534 human pilgrimage to the Temple of Chromatic Enlightenment who knew each other before hand.

Samsin never trusted Achmed in the same way as her sister. Spoiler: Post Story
Samsin's lack of trust for the leader of the pilgrim council was an issue which festered during the short 5th dynasty of the Resource Management World Government. She was eventually persuaded that he had become a tyrant and was responsible for his assassination in 2546, bringing an end to the pilgrim council and the 5th dynasty.
