Malden Kelveck is Brinemarshal of The Brinebright League, and rose to prominence during the Ashrow Ironworks Fire, a disaster that nearly consumed the city’s industrial heart. When Gree-reactive vapors ignited in one of the foundries, creating a chain of deadly explosions, Malden rallied the local Brinebright Chapter to stop the fire from spreading. While others fled, she stood firm, coordinating bucket chains, redirecting flood lines, and pulling trapped workers from collapsing structures. Her quick thinking and calm under pressure saved dozens of lives that day, cementing her reputation as Ashrow’s backbone.
Though now serving as Brinemarshal of the entire League, Malden remains rooted in Ashrow, where she lives and works. She is deeply connected to the city’s working class, seeing herself as one of them—a protector, a leader, and a voice for those who toil in the factories and foundries. She leads with pragmatism and resilience, believing that disaster response isn’t about heroics but about being ready when the worst happens.
