Requirements
There are no requirements to be a Breaker Private, only that you have to be elected by at least two other breakers, these rules shift a great deal upon changing territories.
Duties
The duties of a private tend to be extremely limited and will be cut down to grunt work or maintaining peace until a higher-ranked Breaker is there.
Responsibilities
Maintaining the peace and securing a crime scene.
Benefits
The main benefit is access to weaponry by the main base, sometimes being given a horse, depending on the city.

There is low level weapons training they are subject to, this being a means to groom the powerful.
Safety weapons
Privates are always given blunt weapons as a means to keep the community safe and limit the number of dead. It is also a means to train them to hold heavy weapons.
