Assuku's Disease

Symptoms

The symptoms come in the form of:
  • Not talking to people.
  • Not wanting to get out of bed.
  • Not wanting to do anything.
  • Being quiet, crying often, being submissive, not wanting to hold their children, putting their child down, crying as they hold their child.
  • Treatment

    There's never been a solution that's been given outside of forcing them to look after the child with direct supervision. This generally must include the breast feeding of a child. With some scholars believing that the passing over of fluids provides a connection.

    Prognosis

    Assuku's disease is a form of depression were one doesn't pay attention to any member of their family and is physically repulsed by their own new born children.   This is not an illness that kills the user, at least not directly. Poeple often commit suicide upon the realization of what they've done. Most cases lead to children being abandoned or killed.

    History

    Assuku's disease is named after the Hibidu woman who noticed the patterns and built an installation to try helping women women.

    She discovered it upon listening to both her parent's retelling the story of their struggles raising her. She reported the story to one of her teachers and formed a thesis.   She handed the papers, which were first dismissed but stories and letters started coming in and she was given money for research. The name was given.
